Perform, then circle when complete OR cross out and give a reason why you did not/could not do it. Screenshot each test and save it in a new wordpad document with the customer’s FIRST and LAST name AND date. IE: “Martin Marquess 1.23.18”
Define the following levels as either (High) (Correct) (Low). Make sure you short stick the oil!

Oil level:__________ Coolant Level:___________________ Oil/Coolant look right? ( Y / N )

Power steering: _________ Brake Fluid: _________ Windshield washer: _________

Record Code #’s and definitions – paste at bottom then clear codes. Make sure you print screen codes that come back immediately.

IF you run into a CODE/PROBLEM that will affect EVERYTHING else, request to fix it FIRST before moving on!

As soon as the truck starts, record previous 15 seconds and then immediately switch to power balance.

Recheck blowby OK? ( Y / N )

Record Code #’s and definitions again and see if they are a concern for customer.

First print screen should always be the VIN/MILES.
You should have a print screen of each test and each code definition that is pertinent to issue. You should have 2 print screens for EACH datalogger RECORDING to support your #’s you fill in. You should HIGHLIGHT any PID that is NOT reading correctly. Make sure all of your pids are pulled up on the datalogger BEFORE you conduct tests. Missing information can be the reason for misdiagnosis! Typically you will record the KOEO and KOER startup #’s and then go to power balance quickly. After you get that information you will go back in and get your screenshots and record the numbers manually. This way you do not lose the VITAL cold start information.
